Derrick started his career in Investment Banking and Corporate Finance. After moving to Japan in 2014 he gathered first experiences in recruiting. Since then he has worked for various well-known recruiting and executive search firms, filling mandates for Tier 1 clients within Public and Private Investment & Asset Management across J-APAC. In 2019, Derrick worked in Business Development for a German Start-up in NYC with a focus on off- and online sales channel development across the continental United States. Over the past 4 years, Derrick has helped scale the Japan business of a major Asian recruiting firm to make it the groups most profitable office in the region.
