Designing Strategy: Bridging Cultures Through Human-Centered Innovation

As a Taiwanese-American originally from Seattle, Rebekah has cultivated a deep passion for cross-cultural experiences and design that bridges diverse perspectives. Her international journey has been marked by six transformative years in Japan, where she developed a keen understanding of global communication and collaborative approaches. This background has shaped her approach to understanding complex systems and human-centered as well as planet-centered design and strategy.

Rebekah’s professional path reflects this interdisciplinary spirit, currently serving as a Strategic Design Lead at Fabric, where she collaborates with industry leaders like Panasonic, Amazon, and Melbourne Business School. Her work spans program design, strategy development, and qualitative research, drawing on a diverse background that includes managing international partnerships at Ishinomaki Laboratory's DIY furniture brand and teaching project-based urban planning to Japanese high school students. Beyond professional roles, she has engaged in social impact work, including volunteer efforts in Athens, supporting refugee empowerment.
