Zac Gunther

Zac Gunther is a Management Consultant at Boston Consulting Group, specializing in global strategy projects in the automotive, industrials, and technology sectors. Based in Tokyo since 2018, Zac has worked across 10+ countries over the past decade using his business-level Japanese skills and dual German-U.S. citizenship to bridge cultures and support impactful C-suite decision-making and initiatives.

A University of Chicago Economics graduate, Zac has contributed to 30+ high-impact projects and collaborated with clients in more than 27 BCG offices worldwide - including a stint year-long posting in Munich. Outside of work, he volunteers on the Board of the Boy Scouts in Asia and actively mentors and invests in startups, fostering entrepreneurship and global connections.

An avid marathoner (3:02 PR), skier, and Red Sox fan, Zac is passionate about connecting Japan with the world and shaping the next generation of leaders.
