We are proud to announce that our founder, Peter, was recently appointed as a Global Finance Fellow under Governor Koike’s initiatives.

Through this role, we support initiatives led by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government and FinCity Tokyo, while helping position Tokyo more clearly for a global audience.

Tokyo sits at the centre of Japan’s economy, talent, and decision-making. Today, interest in Japan is accelerating. More global capital is flowing in, more international founders are choosing Tokyo as a base, and more ambitious startups are being established with global intent from day one.

Working directly with the government creates a rare feedback loop between real-world experience and policy. Rather than theory or surface-level narratives, it allows on-the-ground insight from the ecosystem to help shape how Tokyo continues to evolve as a place to build, invest, and lead.
