Peter Sayn-Wittgenstein's first bed in Tokyo was the gap between an air-conditioning unit and a sausage refrigerator.
He'd come from a London investment fund on a friend's invitation, to spend one summer helping run a food truck in near-40°C heat. He went back to finance for two years. In 2016 he returned to Japan for good.
